The Simple Mini specific stance guide:

Is it stanced? (only yes if you can answer yes to all below)

-Drastically lowered over stock
-Arch gap less than 1 finger
-Front end is level or lower than rear end (preferably slightly lower)

NOT stanced if:

-Arches are mounted lower than stock
-Wheels are not at least as wide as arches (if arches fitted)
-Car isn't excessively low
-Body kits etc. do not count
-Larger tires/wheels fitted to minimize arch gap
-Positive camber is present

Note: Ride height is measured to the body of the car, not any additions like splitters/spoilers etc.
arch gap is measured to arch on the car body, not fibreglass items. Camber can be utilised to maximise fitment.

Stance IS impractical, if you don't scrape it's not low enough.

Easiest way to massive stance:
-Hi Lo's wound all the way in
-10inch wheels
-tubbed rear arches
-no arches
-camber brackets + adjustable bottom arms
-re-mount exhaust as high as possible

Somes it up completely, I love you

The true way to have a standard height measurement for the mini is on the sill seam.
On flat ground measuring the sill seam to the floor at front and back. It doesn't show the actual ride height clearance but it is a standard measurement. Stops people fitting side skirts and claiming their car is low too :P

Arch gap is like a *******, the more fingers you can get in the worse it is.

I could probably fist that arch gap

In my opipon thats perfect stance.
Id say it just off the bumpstop so it is still driveable and it looks the dogs well from that angle
"Stance" is nice be a driveable car is much nicer :L

Look how high the floor is, it's not far off standard height so I doubt anywhere near the bump stops. Stance is drivable?

Mine is about the same hight and its only half an inch from the bump stops
Thats if they are sportpacks
Everyone has there own take on stance an personaly mine is low but drivable
I love insanly low cars but they cant be driven :L

My personal opinion on stance is, does it look cool because of the way it sits, regardless of weather its been slammed! or dropped abit if it stands out due to the way it sits thats stance!

Just my two pence worth

maybe in the UK but in US, alot of cars that are slammed or stanced are static drop, like my hold car was, static on coilover setup

drove it everywhere like a year, just have to go slow, be careful, and know where you drive, plan on doing the same with the mini
