I usually switch off the engine, put it in reverse and start up. Do a bit of reversing and the gears go back to normal as if nothing happened. My mechanic hasn't a clue as to what it could be.
Has anybody encountered this problem?. It seems to happen occasionally when I select reverse from a cold start.

However, I remember him fitting a used clutch master cylinder and as you guys remarked it's possible that it requires a bit more bleeding. What a relief i must say. Thank you all once again.

Not sure why you would want a JKD, or copy of, gearset anyway....
