I wouldn't myself my local Uniparts place does the other type for £21 = the vat.
I can get you 25% discount at Euro car parts if that helps?

I don't see any problem with buying a second hand starter motor.
So long as it's in a decent condition.
Just check that the bushes are ok and replace them if need be and off you go.

thanks guys, got offered one for £30 posted so will probably go for this, just in the process of ensuring its in good nick.
