£650 pounds each+vat new! i was gutted when i found that out but these came along.

I Think that curley extra wide versions are the widest but be careful as it may look over arched depending on what whels you fit??

Cheers

thanks Mark, ummmm more than likely going for 13x7 with yokos. grrrrr i really want those split rims i posted earlier in the post

ADE, PETE and willy dasturdley have them , whilst R1minimagic has group 5's i think and ive got sportspack.

Cheers

true, you may need 8 by 13s to fit nice in the arches. i have 7 by 13s but only have the normal miglia's and it fits just right!, wider looks better though!

TO ALL ZCAR KIT OWNERS

did the accelerater cable come with your kit or did you have to make it up yourself? The spaceframe front end comes with the adapter with it but whilst looking i realised the cable isnt there!!! eeeeep

Nothing was on offer at the time, just the ability to rapidly empty my bank account!! I dont think the prices have changed much, no need for that if you are making a healthy profit!!

How is the shell looking so far then??
Is it ready for the trial fit of the rear subframe?
My frame didnt go in as easy as it did in the DVD, it seems the overall height of the main roll over hoop is just a little too tall and fouls the rail where the roof linilg hooks into but it will be addressed (With a hammer!!) when it is removed for painting.

im just having to wait now i need wheels! was thiking of buying a set of metro alloys just to roll is about they go quite cheap on ebay!

the shell is almost there, apart from the x-member not a very good fit...... this really annoyed me. if you pay £46 or what ever it was you expect it to be somewhere near! the diagonals are about 10mm too high! grrrrrrrrrrr

also ive broke the swan neck on my mig so cant get any further at the moment!

so i go down the garden stand there for an hour potter around and go back in!! seems wierd and i dont know why i do it!!!!

this week some time i will be coating the inside of the car ive decided to use the same stuff as i did on the bottom (stonechip) i know it seems a little odd to be putting it in the car but is sets like rubber and i love the finish + when i went in the demo car there was more than a few vibrations this should help with this and lastly it can be painted. the inside of our machines have this finish on the cab panels thats where i got the idea, will look different and thats what i want

im hoping to have the frame (front and back) in by 2 weeks, cant wait going to look sexy

What x member are you on about??
Are you putting a second one in to strengthen the floor and mount the seats on??

I had these made by a mate, he measured up the floor with a stanley tape and they fitted straight away, i couldnt believe it!!! Not even a trim had to be done on them.

You really need to get away from those big machines in work as they are having a bad influence on you and your project, if your not careful the mini will be the first bike powered track machine with a front bucket on it!!! But a bit faster. LOL

I will now have to strip all the underseal off mine when i strip it down as the welding has burnt bits of it off so a fresh coat will be required.

Cheers
