Hey dean i am just about to start and prep my shell fot the kit. i was wanting to no if you would mind taking a few pics of the side vents on the rear as they are just amazing. Dont suppose i could be very cheekie and as for some rough measurments of where they have been positioned as well so i can get a rough idea?

i recon its just the way the picture is taken to be fair . Thought about modifying them so they were flush...... ive made up the perspex and heated it so it fits into the chrome part of the rear light but im not sure
nice 1 people, got such a grin on my face. I would have cracked on this weekend but the sodding weather. just bought a 6" polish kit for the bench grinder so anything that isnt shiney will be by tuesday if its tipping down all weekend!!!

The polish kit turned up today so had a go at that, The exhaust came up really well and also modified it to follow the valance line
-Tried polishing the seat frames but gave up and sprayed them black! .
-Built up the door and adjsuted up to fit nice
-fitted the front window used washing up liquid and bought a tool from min-its in hockley heath. Gotta say everytime ive been there they have always had the things i want in stock a++++++++ fot those fellas
-had a tune out of it, hasnt been started for 3 months but cracked up straight away
- The end is in sight now so looking forway to driving it!

Does your rear valance cause a problem when lifting the shell over the cage?or is this just the race spec kit? I am busy chopping out the car and remembered chris mentioning this problem. Just i love the smooth back end look which you have got and i was just thinking that if i have to take the valance off to allow the cage to fit in the shell then thins could cause a problem, as it would have to be bolted on afterwards unless i welded some tabs on to the valance to accept it from the inside but there would always be a seam i guess??
Cheers
PHIL
