Going to think about it for a while and might buy a different smaller wheel. Might look good on somoene elses mini? its 340mm (13.25 inch) no damage as new, mint condition and never seen 1 with the centre ocver like it before.

As the astrali mount holes are so different to the momo/sparko steering boss, i had to do a little fettling! Basically the wheel came with 2 steering bosses off a mk1 and 2 fiesta. I cut the spline end off and drilled the spot welds so as to retain the circular flat piece. this was offered up to paddle change unit (which has its own 5 hole mount pattern), marked the plate, drilled and countersunk.
The paddle unit was offer up to the steering boss as this was modified also. What a nightmare that was.... couldnt get me bloody fingers in. Yet more fettling!
When its all attatched it loooks good. very secure so no detatching of steering wheel whilst driving hard. ive had to take a notch out of the paddle unit for the steering wheel mounts, but a little more has to be taken out as the nuts dont sit correctly. 10 miniute job topps.

Also checked that all switches are operating with a multimetre. All found to be spot on. All switches are normally closed circuits, however the paddle switches are held in the open position via a spring holding the paddle hard onto the button holding it open. perfect for how i need it so no changing wiring!
Picture of new parts coming shortly, could do with putting it all together!

copper fuel pipe, oil pressure switch sandwich plate, clutch master, bleed nipples and ebc pads.
The oil pressure sandwich and filter together will fit in between the block and exhaust and is only as close as the oil cooler so im happy with no increase in engine oil temp. I may also put a oil temp gauge in just to be sure though! However to change the filter i would have to remove the zaust. So a mate of mine is going to turn the block down so its a little thinner, also needs the diametre to be a little less as it fowls on the galleries running throughout the block, NOTHINGS EVER BLOODY EASY, all good fun though!

pipe work
four pot conversion braided hose
Engine
Sandwich plate modded
oil
air filter
gauges
coolant system attatching
wiring needs sorting
fueling attatching
Coolant system needs
hoses
coolant
bleeding
Fuel system needs
solid state pump ( going to use standard just to run it up)
Hose

When you look at it like that it doesnt seem like much but still big money involved.
I think i should run the engine up. but to be fair i should put the instuments in first so i know what its doing. Also got to wait til next year so i can get the sandwich plate modified. I WANT IT ALL DONE NOW!
