how nice was it today!..... time to get the the mini out and have a tinker!

im considering making the roof scoop, this is the kind of idea im thinking of to force ait to the back got the car. i first thought to use a small scoop at the front then use a channel inside the car but the role bar caused a problem and also headroom is an issue as we all know!!! i decided a channel over the top of the car like the lotus elise would be ideal

this is no the finish size.... maybe have it narrower

hey cardboard is light, sod it i will just tape it to the roof!!!!!

Dean,

I can only comment on the R1 clutch, but basically it uses a standard mini master cylinder and a standard mini slave cylinder. The only mod required is to the clutch actuation lever on the donor engine/gearbox, which Chris will do for you if you post it up to him. This mod amounts to a bit of threaded bar welded to the end of the actuation lever, which is then fed inside the slave cylinder to act as a pushrod.

There's no need to limit the amount of clutch pedal travel, as is necessary with the busa setup, but you do need to fit 1 or 2 hefty slave return springs.

Hope this helps, and good luck with the forthcoming engine purchase.

Hi there,

I added a length of tube that was just big enough to slip over the threaded bar, along with an adjust nut on the bar, makes a simple clutch adjuster....makes it really easy to set the clutch up just right.....just my 2 penneth )
