Without your own land or persmission to use someone elses I dont think you can use them anywhere nowadays. Even beach's have restrictions now and common land has tightened up too

Buy a field :proud:

I was thinking of getting one last year, but I had the same problem. I would love nothing more than to thrash one around in the winter getting covered in mud and crap, but alas, I cannot afford a field. I know my brother would have loved it too.

If you find a solution, let me know. I might be tempted again.

did wonder if the 4x4 pay and play sites would let you on but i dont know if a little buggy would be suitable!

Get it road legal then use it on 'green lanes' & byways.

road legal would be a long term plan once having fun in muddy fields. after a quick look id need at least 150k to buy a couple of acres near me. im thinking if 150 people wanted to chip in 1k each and have a league where we could all race :D

HAHA That is almost a tempting idea. Surely there must be some proper races already held? But you could start an amateur championship or something. Pay the field off in no time :P

i attend a few 4x4 pay and play sites with my discovery..

good point is that you can take any vehicle. road legal or not (we take our mates argocat now and again)

bad point is that the speed limit are 15mph - 20mph (and very strict) so you wouldnt have to much fun to be honest
