However another possibility is excessive play in a front wheel-bearing, which is wobbling the disc and pushing the pads away from the disc - then when you need them - you have to push the pads back into contact with the disc. So - jack up and check for play in the bearings and/or loose 'big nut' on the CV joint.

Nope not really had any problems with bearings, as soon as I notice even a little play the get replaced but I use genuine timkin bearings all around think I've only changed them twice in 2 years.

Calm down dear, was just wondering. Having a split brake system you should have had your rear brakes (as poor as they are) .

fitted the grill properly yesterday,

i had to weld some threaded bar to the back and drill some holes into the front of the car :)

ive also rejetted the carb so thats gonna be going on once i make up a bracket for the accelerator cable :D

The wheel bearing problem, chances are the tapered washer is worn and thats why your bearings are loose. Have a look at it, the outer face should be flat.


yeah i thinking so, it is also spinning in the hub :/

Looking really good with the van grille. Don't like the tape on your lights or the yellow covers, but with the grille it actually suits it well.
