Dont know if this has been mentioned before

If you dont mind me asking how much has it all cost to do the engine? Like the machining of the block, and the cost of the head, cam etc

its not cheap,
the machine work cost me £240
pistons £220
cam £80
head was £250
then you have to add up all the costs of gaskets and all the othe little bits to change while the engines apart

Bore and horn
Head skim
Block skim
Pockets cut for 12g940 head

Least your nearly there tho

it was also for new crank bearings big ends and such and for them to press the pistons onto the rods and crank and refit it all

60 ish maybe more,
its gonna be rolling roaded after its run so i'll post the results when i do :)
