Anyway, if you need any advice, give me a shout, I'll try my best.
It really can only be a good thing to have such a Mini legend roaming the corridors of TMF.

Having his advice avalible when he can spare a moment would be a great asset to the forum and its members, and only build on the already existing wealth of knowledge TMF has the ability to provide!
I am hoping he is here to stay and its not a fleating visit to discuss business. (fingers crossed its both)

Hi David,
Welcome to TMF!
I was 'Roving Editor' on your 'Mini Tech News' Technical monthly Newsletter for a few years back in the early 1980's, I still have every copy filed away along with the first edition of 'Tuning the A-Series' book that you gave me!

I am sure the real DV is a very busy man so wont have much time to spend on here, need to be realistic about that!
Well aware of that. But we can hope cant we?!
Hopefully he will have a spare moment to pass out some advice once in a blue moon.

We'll have to wait & see, he contacted us, but I can't see him sitting online just to answer all the "what oil is best" questions.
ohh....
I wanted to get his advice on what that button on the dash with the pedal is for!

There is ne scheduled to be held in Swansea Next year....
From his Facebook page:
Ok guys and gals - I have a big annoncement to make. I will be doing a big seminar in at the Universal Tech Institue Rancho Cucamunga, California next April 2012 and an equally big if not bigger one at Swansea University in the UK. That one is sheduled for next October 2012. the Swansea Seminar will have a numer of preformance exhibitors present and will be like a smaller version of the Birminham Motorsports show. There will be less emphasis on V8 engines here and more on 4 cylinder ones especially Mini's. I need all the support from my mini fans to make this one really fly as I think it may be the last I do. (heck I am getting old and 80 hour weeks are no longer an option). I have got some 'A' Series power moves that probably less than 5 people on the face of the planet know of. This won't be like any seminar you can even concieved of so start making regular checks of my web site at www.davidvizardseminars.com. I'm counting on my mini fans for support - put the word around. Now is the time for you guys to act!
