When I last met David Vizard it was at the UK Autosports Show 2012 at the NEC and said he was keen to get his 18 year old daughter Jacque Vizard to drive a race Mini in the UK and experience the car that started his career with engine tuning. Sadly as Nick said above she tragically died in 2014.

Just saw a link to this thread & have read all the way through. Out of interest, can anyone let me know if the Swansea Seminar actually took place?
Keith
Yes the Swansea Seminar took place, shame there is no video available that I know of, there was a good review on the Mk1 Forum at the time by some of the Mini enthusiasts and tuners who attended.
In this short video from last year at a David Vizard 'Performance Seminar' he tells the audience he believes many other engine builders and experts know far more than he does.....

Thanks for the links, I'll check them out tomorrow. I was interested to know if the Swansea seminar took place, as it was before we got the GT and hence took much interest in Minis, & it's such a backwater down here that it's very unusual for something that interesting to take place!
Absolutely dreadful news about Mr. Vizard's daughter, truly awful.
