I have a 998cc with stage 1 kit.

I have been driving it 6 weeks, around my local area. NSL roads, 30's, dual carriageways - quite a mix.

I have averaged 34mpg. :) - does that help?

depends on engine size and state of tune as well as driving style really, i had a 1330 with a race cam, twin carbs, etc, if i drove "semi sensibly" i could get 25-30 mpg ish, and if i took it for a good pasting on my favourite country lanes it used to drink the stuff, i think we worked it out to be about 15mpg.

on the way to the IMM a few years ago we took the mini and the camper

with the mini following the camper doing 60 mph we got 60 mpg

I haven't really taken note of my MPG's in my 998 but I would estimate around the mid 30's

I was getting 45-50 out of my standard 998. Some of you really need to get your engines tuned properly :P

Or have their lead feet sawn off :shifty:

I don't know what my SPI does, it's still on it's first tank of fuel as it went pretty much straight in for a respray. I'm expecting around 45mpg, but I do live in a very hilly area and suffer from lead foot syndrome.

SPI = single point fuel injection, you also get MPI's (multipoint) both can be manual or auto. I think they'd stopped making SA Minis before fuel injection, so unless it's an import....

35 sounds about right, or 200 miles to a tank. something like that
