A panel looking great,  nice having good progress.  How I wish I'd have put some paint on mine before Winter,  same blue nearly,  but I also have spots of surface rust in primer too.

What better way to spend a bank holiday monday morning.....welded in floor pan.

Outer sills removed, door step cut out.

 

Ready for some welding, then new door step and sill along with A panel.

Inner sill repair welded in, door step welded in....

Door step just about done, need some discs to grind down the welds.

 

Inner sill protected and outer sill welded on...

 

 

Hard to see its all been painted with chassis black. Still got a couple of welds to grind down....need discs....

 

 

Floor painted too whilst paint was open...

 

And the fuel tank....

Yeah, but irn bru is my fave. Anything wet will do after grinding and welding.

Yeah lol, getting closer to starting to drop that into place, cant wait.

Floor fully welded, did the last 3 bits today.

 

Painted in black both sides for protection.

 

Also stone chipped the rear end upto the heal board, thinking I may fit the rear subframe and tank soon, but need to decide what method im gunna do to fit the engine and work out what needs chopping out (front panel, inner wings etc).

had an hour free, so put the NS A panel on. Need to spot weld the lip when i next get down.
