Marianne Faithfull who had a romantic relationship with Mick Jagger between 1966 - 1970. Got a 1998 'mini magazine' off ebay for the article on the Grand Prix and I quote:-

It was George Harrison's not John Lennon's - John is in the passenger seat. It was a Radford Mini, as was Steve McQueen's.

why didnt anyone else notice he was in the passenger seat?

It could have been a left hand drive Mini!

I've just phoned a Doctor and he thinks Princess Margaret's probably about 38 degrees cooler than Michael Caine these days!


by the way, I don't think John Lennon had a driving licence, did he? So I hope he wasn't driving a LHD Mini!
