Hi, If you selling a mini advertise it everywhere. Alot of good mini's seems to come from random adverts such as, free advert boards in supermarkets, local mini suppliers, preloved, gumtree,Mini Forums (not just this one) all of theese are free..

Ebay obviousally charges but you can relist upto 3 times.. I brought my mini after seeing it on gumtree... and sold my last car on ebay. Also get some illuminated card and stick in in the windiows and leave it in a busy place (but bear in min there are alot of mini robbing thiefs about)

Autotrader aswell but less and less on there nowdays.

A lad I know has a driveway on a busy main road so if im every selling ill stick it on there in the mornings and then back in my garage of a nighttime. Somewhere like this is perfect..

Hope the above helps...

What you selling ?

advertise you mini for sale in mini forums for a start then you can use Gumtree which is free, then like you say there is ebay but its a hit or a miss with ebay at times. If your looking for a reasonable price for your car you need to advertise it sensibly. Silly priced cars and dishonest descriptions never usually sell. If you have over 150 posts then you can advertise it in here for free but if not then you will have to join as a paid member.

Didnt realise Pistonheads was charging now thought that was just for premium ads, but anyway......

I've used ''Car and Classic'' and ''Classic Cars For Sale'' both offer a free ad and come up on trovit search's so they're both good. On here in the for sales section is a good place to start but you'd have to join TMF as you dont have enough posts in yet.

But ebay does tend to get the most hits!

I am looking for a mini at the moment and it seems to be that on Pistonheads if you put your car in the road legal track day cars you can put it there for free still.

if it's like most of the valuations i've seen people give on here then chances are you'll be in for a long wait to sell ;)
