Today we made some adjustments to the seat/floor panel by clamping it up by the wheel arch so that there was a tight fit, We also joggled the edge.



We then set about making the end of the heelboard.




After painting it we welded it in, I still need's to be plug welded on the top and on the inside.



Once we done that we weld in the other panel, It still need's to be fully welded and plug welded on the inside, (tomorrow's job)

Muk referenced it in his thread I think and great tech on panel making but looks like you are on the way to being a good panel maker.

Thanks, I am very please with them, Dad and I didn't expect to get them welded in today.
I've never seen that before, there are some very good panel making skill's there, Dad has taught me how to do all of the panel making, welding etc

your Dad should be proud of you and you should be very proud of your Dad having tought you those skills (when time comes you will be passing those on), excellent team efford. and yes the tread Graham has shown you/us is great. I defo will make one of his metal folders.....

Yeah, The metal folder is good, we clamp two piece's of metal in the vice .


We didn't get to weld it up as we were doing other things and we had to replace lulu85ritz's front driver's side bearing's, so I should be doing it tomorrow.

I did buy this tonight though.
