I also wire brushed the drivers floor as since we mad the reapairs Surface rust had come through.
Where I found a small hole.

Yesterday I Welded up the small hole in the floor and ground that back.
I also ground back the welds to the inside, It still needs a bit of work done.

Have you got a build thread of your clubby estate?

Firstly I ground down the welds on the shock mount area. I also had to enlarge the bottom holes for where the bolts go as they were scraping against it, I also retapped the holes as the bolts were a bit stiff.
Then I painted it
Then I ground down more of the welds down the inside flitch, and welded a few places then ground back.

I found some rust between the floor and the cross member, So i split them, wire brushed, Kurusted and welded,
Then I gave it a coat of Hammerite.
I also Cut the support on the rear bin And started making a new piece.

I Measured the distance between the subframe hole's and got them right and clamped a peice of metal From the subframe mount to the heelboard so it didn't move, then I welded in the strengthener from the bin to the subframe mount.
Then I welded on the 2 strengthers on the subrame mount.
Comment's Welcome
