Fantastic work, it looks awesome! It’s probably further back in the thread but what type of fabric tape did you use on your loom? I’ve seen several different types but unsure what to go for... Cheers

Cheers. It's called tesa Tape, I think we used 19mm wide. It's really good stuff. https://www.ebay.co....TsAAOSwX~dWlOTq

Even with putting in some late nights I didn't manage to get the mini finished for riv run and also the DVLA didn't get the engine changed so couldn't drive it anyway.

Few more bits on.

and pretty much there. The air filter hits the bulkhead so I'm going to get a den adjustable steady to move the engine for a bit. For some reason even though minispares say the 825mm long fan belt fits the large and small pulley it is too short, I can just get the alternator in so am going to get a 838mm long one and see if that helps.

A mini shaped buzzer game Dad and I made.

Once again Riviera run down pentewan sands had great weather and there was an even bigger turn out than the previous year at pentewan and a lot bigger than any other riv run thats been held. I think there was over 300 minis (including bmws...)  Ac dodd attended again tuning up cars during the day, I took my dash pot down so he could sort out/feel what oil is required in it which turned out to be transmission fluid.

I vote number 1. I think they look good without a chrome grill or bonnet trim.
