Thanks, I'm Starting to do more welding as I've got better.
I managed to set fire to the carpet and burn a hole in my jumper while welding up side down. :D

This weekend we welded in the floor panel.
Posted Image

We welded in a panel that I made last week for the bottom of the arch.
Posted Image
Posted Image
We removed the spot welds that hold the rear bumper lip on and cut it off the back edge of the boot floor.
Posted Image
Posted Image

I made two repair panels for the bumper lip and I welded them in.

Then I made a repair for the back edge of the boot floor.

I cut out circles to fit in the boot floor, welded and grinded, then covered it in kurust ready to be painted during the week.

Alex good work on rear boot panel and bottum repair, a bit concerned of the subby repair, as far as I am aware, MOT tests does not allowe subby repairs anymore :shy: , but...... if you sand back and dress your welds and make sure there is strenght there plenty of paint, they might not notice,..... ;D

Thanks, Well My dad went up to the MOT tester up the road tonight and said that it would be fine being welded where I welded it.(If you think about repairing a subframe I would ask the Local MOT tester). I shall be dressing back the welds and giving a few more coats of paint. :shifty:

This weekend I made a panel to fit around the rear light, it Still needs a bit of shaping to fit right though.
Posted Image

Then I set about cutting the bottom of the quarter panels and the BAD repair panel.

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

The panel had holes drilled in it to be plugged welded in, that was't used :ermm:

I managed to pull the repair panel off with my hands and a chisel.
Posted Image

The heelboard and subframe mounting holes, which the bolt and stud fell out.
Posted Image
I also made the other rear valance closing panel.

Thanks
Alex

Well I didn't do any bodywork this weekend but I should be doing a bit during the next 2 weeks.
We did manage to take the tyres off the 10x6 wellers, unfortuantly all the tyres have cracks in them, so we cut them off, They still have 5mm of tread on them. >_<
