Got a few bit's done this weekend, had to take off the carb off of the ritz on friday as it was bogging down alot even after tuning it until it didn't which turned out to be the jet sticking.

I started building up the rear back plates during the week but couldn't finish them as I had to much paint in the cylinder hole >_<. So removed the paint and repainted it. So I managed to build up one of them one evening.

DSCF1026_zpsdrgm5vbh.jpg

Then I drilled holes for the P-clips to hold the fuel and brake lines and we bent the fuel and brake lines.

DSCF1037_zpsqr9aaduz.jpg

Trial fitted the rear subframe to check where the pipes can fit (hadn't fitted since welding the heel board :whistling:)

DSCF1036_zpswgxm6pag.jpg

Then made up the brake line for the front subframe and drilled holes for P-clips. Probably can't see the unions been polished

and the main brake line.

Didn't do much else, just removed the pipes and subframe ready for next weekend and gave the subframes a paint.

Got a couple of bits done this weekend, sandblasted the radius arms and the tops which took a while and sprayed them with zinc paint. Finished the two brake backplates and cleaned the battery cable off.

Haha, They are great masks, couldn't smell any of the paint.

Got another order  (maybe 2 ) from minispares come through a while ago mostly little bit's to build up the subframes which I forgot about. I got a new steering rack as my original one was a bit stack on the ball joints and the bearing had rusted making a ball jam. so masked it up srayed it with zinc paint and painted it black, still needs a couple of coats.

DSCF1047_zpsl7veli3n.jpg

Painted the radius arms and removed the bearing and bushes. I also removed the top arm bearings, tried an internal bearing puller but broke on the first one so removed the bearings and welded a nut inside and pulled them out.

DSCF1048_zpsxlgwg5ty.jpg

And cleaned out the grease, I started out with a screwdriver but ended up making this (bit of metal with a piece of rubber on the end) to drag it through and get into the hollow part as it was filled. There was 3 or 4 bit's like this pulled out.

DSCF1066_zpsu2ua0arq.jpg

I got another pair of hubs off of megamini_jb

DSCF1053_zpsgptlohrg.jpg

Cleaned them both and filed the round part a bit smaller to prevent the 7.5" brakes hitting it. Masked them up using the old seals for sandblasting.

DSCF1061_zpsjuv0wl50.jpg

zinc painted them and gave them one coat of black, will give them another couple of coats when the bearings and ball joints are fitted.

DSCF1062_zpstxgil0s6.jpg

Then masked up the garage and the mini for spraying.

I should be able to get the fuel and brake lines and battery cable on this weekend and flip it over.

Also got some nice bits from DSN...
