the Sportspack rack is the same as the standard rack but has limited movement to prevent 13 inch wheels rubbing on the shell.

I started reading this thread as i am considering swapping my track rod ends with rose joints, can anyone give me an up to date list of parts? the ebay links earlier in this thread have all expired.

 

your comments on rear suspension knocking also caught my interest, i recently fitted AVO non coil over type double adjustable dampers to my A series engined mini running yellow spot cone springs, and i have noticed a noise from the rear end, it is something between a knock and a rattle, depending on road surface, on inspection it seems to be the rose joint in the rear damper being slightly loose in its socket. 

 

Might be worth a look to see if that is responsible on your car too.
