Hey Andrea

So you finally did it, congratulations, you picked up a really good example there from the other photos you have shown me. I hope it turns out to everything you expected it to be.

Hi mate.

This night i'll post a few pics up and describe the car and all her defects.

This will be an interesting project for next months....lots of things to sort out as the previous owner didn't maintain the car properly during his possession.

Mind If I ask how much that set you back?

Id love to see more pics and more details. Are you going to leave it as is or make your own mark on it?

More pics, last ones showing some details (like the shock absorber mounting points reinforcements) and defetcs (like the front wheels rubbing issue, or the electrical mess i have under the dash where it has also been installed a heat blower for the winter, and yellowish carbon roof):

Crikey - I see what you mean about the wiring, that is shocking.

;)

I'm unsure about the psi the wheels should be inflated to.
I am running 195/45 13" front and 245/50 13" rear.

Any suggestions?

Do you think that sanding the roof down and repainting it with clear laquer would remove those yellowish spots? They look like cooked paint to me, not damaged carbon...

What a lovely looking car ;) I sometimes wish i had bought a finished car, run it for a bit for fault finding then take it apart and rebuild it, would probably be cheaper too...................

Good luck with that wiring :)

Thanks mate.

You should see the wiring under the hood.
Headlamps wires are not covered by any sort of protection, it's a real mess. And it's a mess signed Z-Cars (it's a factory built car).

I've decided to use it for the time being, it will be stripped down and rebuilt during the winter to a much higher standard..
