Totally disagree about the Revival. Unmissable event IMHO. Knowledgeable, well mannered and well turned out crowd and so much going on. I'll be there tomorrowSome nice Minis there. I'm not keen on the revival though, lots of stuck up stuffy ******* that think they're better than you.

I believe my friend Whizzo Williams won a race in a Mini - he's the same age as me! There is life in the old dogs yet

The broken disc is probably a symptom rather than the cause - it'd have been holding the wheel on single handed if the hubnut went AWOL.

Fabulous photos, thanks for posting those.

'Evergreen septuagenarian' Barrie’Whizzo’ Williams was fastest in Friday qualifying driving one of the fearsome rumbling American Ford Galaxie 500's, ahead of former BTCC star Paul Radisich’s similar Galaxie, while not that far behind considering the dry track conditions was the white Cooper S Swiftune Mini seen in the photos above, perhaps a rain shower or two will change that position around in favour of the Mini's during the races today and tomorrow.............

Lovely! I definitely need to go next year.
Lots of Lambretta scooters there too but difficult to get photos of them with admiring crowds around them..........
