Do you know what caused the wheel to come off BMWs Mini? I'm guessing the fractured disc alone wouldn't do much more than flap about and smack into the caliper and hub.
Not sure what happened................there was much discussion and examination of the Mini going on between their mechanics but unfortunately I don't speak any German!

Some nice Minis there. I'm not keen on the revival though, lots of stuck up stuffy ******* that think they're better than you.
The Revival is a one off though, where else can you see so much in a period setting. I went to the first one, and was at the chicane when Ray Hannah flew his Spitfire down the main straight and had to pull up to get over the marshalls post on the infield in front of us, that's something that will stay with me for life. I must admit we dress up now to go down, as (I) feel that you now attract more attention if you don't than if you do!

I go to Goodwood Revival practice day every other year when the racing allows Mini's from the early 1960's (other years it is late 1950's) so just wear t-shirt & jeans which was 1960's dress anyway...........I never wore a tweed jacket and flat cap in the 1960's and it was too hot there yesterday !!
Some maybe stuck up stuffy and not really there for the racing or classic cars but it all adds to the feeling of going back in time to the 1950's and 60's...........there is even a 1960's Tesco supermarket with food and goods in 'period' packaging for sale!
