Hi All

I have just purchased the above and would like to know if anyone could give me any advice on fitting a Banham Roadster kit, especially the strengthening of the shell once the roof is removed.

And for a specific tip - strengthen the shell BEFORE you remove the roof. If it twists or lozenges when the roof comes off it'll be difficult to get it back where it's supposed to be but if there are braces in place before you remove the roof then it won't move.

In the kit is:-

shortened windscreen
fibreglass windsreen top finishing cover
2 x shortened side windows
fibreglass complete dashboard
2 x stainless roll hoops
rear canopy cover

There are no strengthening parts, so assume these would have to fabricated and welded in like in a cabriolet.

No the last time I understand these were made was in 2004 when the company folded., so it is cut the bodywork and see
