Nope not a flip front and the grill is attached with self tappers all the way around, I can't stand the sight of grill buttons!

does it slightly overhang at the sides or does it fit inside the mk3 grill space completely. they look like slightly different shapes and don't want to buy a bonnet without the flange on the front if i can't get the mk1 bumper to fit..

i am not very skilled so if it hard i may have to pay someone to sort it for me..

I'm putting one on mine, You don't need to buy a new bonnet, You just need to drill out the spotwelds on the bonnet lip.

i have ordered my mk1 grill this morning from mini sport whilst i was picking up all my new panels.. i am very excited am going for the one with no bonnet release notch in it and am going to attempt to fit a bonnet release my self...

that should be fun...

here is the little puppy... can not wait to get in on... going to take all the slats off and paint the backing plates the same colour as the car then you can't see them.. its the small things as they say.....
