thank you all for your kind comments :proud: :proud: :proud: as for the dish i was contemplating doing some righting or a pattern or something as i have a vinyl plotter and it can be easily done. what do you guys think?

id do the bit thats black now red, and leave the width white.

like an old skool american car with white wall tyres.

looks tidy:P i reckon you should raw the wheels then dis-colour the metal with a blowtorch so you get the ' all the colours of the rainbow' thing. then lacquer!

but it still looks goood 8)

Love the look of your mini ...but agree with above you need to get a bit of colour in them now to set things off. Great car! =]

this is a good idea! i will give it a go with the spare and see what it looks like. but wont heating the wheel change the properties of the steel/ welds making them brittle and more likely to fail? or do people do this kind of thing all the time and its fine?

I like everything apart from the tape on the light. The Banded steels look wiked! Where did you get them from?

ive had a few quotes to get some done for my mini, still need the wheels and cash thou :mmkay: but its came in around the £300 mark to widen 4 from the people ive rang. Thou i think its a stupid high price i would still be willing to pay it!

Just to add. becarful with those steel wheels of speed bumps and potholes and you will gradually weaken and bend them. Steel split rims are very weak. Just word of advice :P No putting a downer cause i love the look
