Depending on how low you go, you may also need to reposition the brake hoses, and remove the brackets holding the hoses to the radius arms to avoid damage. Also, if you do this, you may not be able to exchange your radius arms for reconditioned units with the brackets missing.

well when i had 12" wheels i was only lowered a little bit and i managed to get my tyre into contact with the metal wheel arch leaving me with dents on each rear quarter :(

here is a photo of my mini now on 10" and the ride height i am after
