Just read through the entire thread too thanks to it being bumped to near the front. Absolutely stunning work!

Absolutely breathtaking work. Read through this entire thread start to finish twice paying a lot of attention to the roof gutter work (I need to redo about 75% of my 1979 mini special). Now inspired to get my mini restored to showroom condition after leaving it a year to deal with house stuff.

Any updates? Is it finished and put back together completely?

Thanks again :)

Ok, with the inner wing sorted, the front end was refitted to check alignment before final welding. Here is the drivers side inner wing as it100_2480.jpg100_2481.jpgThanks, more to follow.

Amazing work. Would never have thought of doing the front end off the car!
Did you weld around the scuttle to wing joint ir just seal it with something like tiger seal?
