That car pictured above is not the JCG Mini Limo from the '97 motor shows. Follow this: http://www.theminifo...howtopic=122996 for a page about the car, the pictures are terrible but other than the Mini Mag column about it pictures of this car are very hard to find. It is privately owned and built to spec for a customer, Rover dragged it around all the motorshows that year and then handed it over. It and the Hot Rod were both built at the same time for different customers and you saw one or the other depending on what day you went to the show, the Hot Rod was out the day I went. The Limo was indeed a classic Mini, wasn't stretched, but was just fully luxuried up. It was a deep red pearlescent colour with chromed Sportspack wheels and light tan leather, fully electric heated and cooled Recaro seats. It had sat nav which was a very expensive option in 1997 and required a small-ish computer with CD Rom drive to be installed into the boot. It had a Minidisc multichanger under the rear seat (remember them?). Cooper Garages built another one to a slightly lesser spec in blue for themselves and had it in their tent for Mini @ 40.
Agree with Dan on this. I've only got a couple of Rover press photos of the car, same as in the linked thread but at least they're in colour. If I remember correctly, it was all over the tv news at the time.
