Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamie!!

I went to see Craig today, whilst wondered around his unit as he was pulling apart a b16a2 for me (i couldnt be bothered getting my hands dirty!!) i noticed a del sol with a b16a2 engine that had a twin plug distributor on it.....this is what your after right?? Might be worth giving him a bell, if this weather stays **** i may be able to hand deliver it this week if you want

Well well well - hate to disapoint folks - but there has been no progress atall - working 7 days a week, 8am till 6pm hasn't left any time to do any work on the car. However, the bank balance is looking pretty healthy - so at the end of the ski season, all will be well ;)

Yup - there is still progress, just not as fast as it was - however, the project is not over and it will be finished - not given up! :)

Skiing? Pfft, I get payed to ski! Should get up for a slide!

How much have you roughly spent on this project so far?

Not too much... I'm not 100% sure, as I'm terrible at organising receipts and stuff...

Car - £800
Engine, loom, gearbox, rad all other bits - £600
subframe - £800
Shafts and Cv's - £600
Bottom arms and tie bars - £300
Other bits and bobs come out at about £500 at present.

Although - I've just bought this little toy!


Having vtec in my life, has made me SO desperate to get the mini done now! Should be coming into 5k of inheritence at the end of april - middle of may - so expect her done for june!

Not a bad motor considering I'm 18! Proper rocket, although very loose on the back end - lift off oversteer is mental!

Nope - not atall - even if you round it up to the next thousand, its not bad... I've been doing it bit by bit, and keeping an eye out for ebay bargains, and not buying stuff till its reduced!
