More wiring... Sigh.

Started making up a seperate dashboard loom...

Each one of my gauges requires one of these - can see this getting messy!

Terminals and wiring in for the ILLUMINATION ALONE on savage switches!

All taped up, and ran through some conduit that will be fibreglassed in place!

Dashboard illuminations DONE!

They all dim when I put my headlights on anything other than sidelights too, so wont be too bright whilst driving!

Another shot of the interior lights!

Couple of videos...

The wiring, done.

And for this one, I wrapped the RPM feed around the spark plug lead on a leaf blower just to test if it works or not - it does, so I'm happy with that :) Now taped in place around one of the spark plug leads on the engine!

Thanks guys!

Got my longer alternator bracket sorted - made it up last night...

Posted Image

Started life as a peice of bar...

Posted Image

Cut to the length I need...

Posted Image

Drilled, slotted, and rounded off...

Posted Image

All holes and edges reamed and cleaned up... Painted, and on the car. Perfect.

Posted Image

Going to need to make a small hole in the grill I think...

Posted Image

Also changed the throttle posistion sensor - with the engine in place! Took some doing, couldnt get a torx driver in there!

1/4 drive ratchet, with bit holder and a torx bit - Just fits!

Have another pic of the dash!

5.25 litres of oil has gone in this afternoon - just need to finish off the loom, run some temporary fuel lines, and get some coolant in her. First start is getting closer and closer!

Needs fuel, and coolant hoses... But the oil is in, and we're ready for the first start!

Good work, I can't believe how much you have done on it to be honest. Very impressive and nice looking dash.
