Now we all know its not petty theives, we know farewell this is arranged and targetted
We know nothing can stop them
There are targetting the expensive models of the mini range
The mk1's
The coopers
The highly modified
The rare ones such as clubmans, estates, van and pick up's
There must be someway to find out how there doing this and where they are going
They just go to there place unoticed and so forth
If the police are really taking action, then dover and all shipping yards would be notified because all cargo holds are searched
I might just be blowing hot air, the people who are doing the crime are probably monitoring this forum because its open to public
I am address the people of tmf and the moderators
To the moderators cant we make this forum private to people who havent signed up? (Yes i know they could easily sign up but its just another "annoying" thing for them and leaving a "trace" etc
To the people of tmf, does anyone know anything, small or tiny whatever it is
Know someone who can get dodgey gear or papers because someone could pose as someone who wants a "car" etc
Silly as it sounds. I dont know just fed up of people getting there minis stolen and a great car being tainted with thieft
I fully understand it all cars not just minis but this is our community and i know we all look at stolen mini alerts thinking "Damn it, i know it wont get found but i wish i could do something"
Ahh well

Indeed this is possibly one of the biggest things that could potentially be happening to the stolen mini's, but think about exporting? Mini parts are extremely hard to come by in other countries.
still, we need to do something. As a community we can do atleast smothing small to try and prevent this a little better than we do.

If they were being exported im sure someone must of picked up on it by now
I thought police would monitor it if it was reported more than a couple of times
I remember being pulled over by the police in my mini for a check up on me that i am the owner of the mini because there had been tonnes of reports of stolen minis and thats when i lived up North east for two years

Does anybody know any Foreign mini forums? Might have a few answers?

but all you can do really is make it harder to steal ie garage, alarm, traker etc. because if someone wants something that much they will attempt to take it.
string them up thou i say (not the mini's
