Make sure you put the clip back on the right way up, so that when it sits in its groove, the open ends are touching the back plate rather than curling away from it.

Doh i put mine on the other way round as i thought it would secure it better.

I got mine on in the end after snapping 1 just using a screwdriver :lol:

I know this is an old thread, but the Brake cylinder circlip (e clip) fitting ghost is still very much here, so
