A great thread, a truly good 2 hours read which could be made into a mini restoration manual for the beginers.with do,s and donts. Although it was an anti-climax with the sale. Out of curosity how much did it make?. Im sure it was more an experiance than anything else. Whats next then Andrew?.

That's really flattering, thanks a lot.
I was gutted to sell it but it had to be done due to a new job and a move. I got near enough £3000 for it.

I've now got myself an A4.
Will definitely be getting another Mini at some point in the future.

I read the whole thread.  I almost cried a little on page 61 with the link to the eBay ad.  

Nice work, sir. 

 

(Also, it is amazing to me that this brought £3000.  In the USA where the Minis are somewhat 'exotic' this would have brought 15- 20,000 USD.)
