Andrew congratulations. That is a smashing car. You did it in world record time as well. You started after me and finished before. Makes me feel kind of pathetic. Great going.

Cheers Rhys, I'll be lowering it when I can be bothered to suffer the Argo of doing it.

Thanks a lot Hugh, and record time it was not. It took me well over 2 years, I could have done it a lot quicker if I tried.
I would feel pathetic in your position, your car is coming along excellently. MOT time before you know it

Andrew.

I've read this thread from start to finish in two "working days" and I agree with what the guys above have said, it's an absolute credit to your hard work and dedication.

If mine comes out nearly half this good, I'll be very very happy (also my first resto, except I'm 29 lol).

Really sorry to see you're selling Andrew. You've done a cracking job on the rebuild. Absolutely not my business but I did basically the same at about your age and I have regretted it ever since. I have scoured Auto Trader and eBay looking for my old Mini millions of times in the hope of buying him back.
Good luck with selling it anyway mate. I am sure it will be gone in no time.

I have no doubt I'm going to regret it, but I'm very shortly going to be doing long motorway journeys every week and the Mini is just not suited for it.
