Check most project pages pal - unless you're a small celebrity in these parts, it's pretty much your personal diary. Don't demand attention, you'll shun the viewers.
In any case, what you've done so far is great work. Can't wait to see the engine in good order - any mods to the gearbox?
Thanks for the advice, And the gear box is compleley standard
nice when you rekon it will be finished? and also what did you clean your subframes with and what paint did you use as im at this stage now on my project thanks tom
The deadline is May as that is when im learning to drive. I cleaned my subframe with a wire brush on my angle grinder and painted with a few layers of etch and then a few layers of Black hammerite

Once i have the 205 back on the road my next project will be a Mini to work on with my 13 year old son so it is interesting to see how you go about it!!!!
Be careful using hammerite on cars as it does not flex well and can end up letting water get under it which will cause rust.

Mostly boring body work today but it has to be done
All went well apart from a small fire :/ and cutting half way through the engine loom with a angle grinder but its all good now.
Any way PICS -
Patch welded in on the inner wing ( Not ground down yet )
Got my moneys worth out of this one -
Very messy pantch wleded in just bove the jacking point ( Needes to be tidied up more so dont judge me )
I also repaired the hole that was in my rear arch but forgot to take a photo so will get a pic up next time.
Im now getting ever closer to putting the front end on its just a matter of finishing the inner wings.
More updates very soon
All opions VERY welcome
Andrew.
