PHEWWW! That took some reading but very interesting and you have done it quicker than i did.(mortgage and things slow progress!!!)
Just one question, when you applied the high build primer how far do you sand back to make it flat and does it take a LONG time??

Wow, thanks for taking the time to read through the thread.
I didn't sand it back to a specified amount I just sanded it back till it was silky smooth with no imperfections, and yes it takes the absolute pi*s. Took me and my dad most of the week to flat it back properly

Cheers, no heating up and no string. We used a special window tool a lot of brut force and swearing
