Any way i havnt done any welding recently because of the weather
So I've started work on the Engine
I have removed the Head and Clutch so they can be done.
Now I'm prepping it for painting
Heres some snaps -
Mins now at the top of the drive for easier access -
Pistons all nice and clean -
Core plugs removes as there being replaced -
Getting all the rust of the Block and cleaning up the Gear Box -
Same story on the back -
Didn't realise how light the Bell housing was until i took it off. Im drilling hoses in it purely because it looks good ( Not done yet ) -
This isn't really related but i love my gasket case so much I've just got to show you -
Thats about it for now.
The deadline is still for my 17th Birthday in May so I'm going to be flat out
PLEASE let me know what you think weather its negative or positive, i just really want your opinions
Stay tuned for more updates

+ exhaust gasses so pressure build up in the sump/gearbox which could lead to oil being blown out of the dipstick or breather and loss of power output

I used some WD 40 and some wet and dry and i was very carefully to clean the gaps down the sides of the pistons.
Thanks for the input. I really appreciate it

In any case, what you've done so far is great work. Can't wait to see the engine in good order - any mods to the gearbox?
