Ive got some good news, The computers all sorted which mean i can give you a proper update with plenty of pics.

Got the passenger door mounted -

Taken to bare metal to insure no nastiness lurking underneath -
Posted Image

Small amounts of filler was needed just to go over some spot welds. Then it was primed
The door gaps are not great but quite frankly i dont care anymore, I just want it finished -
Posted Image

Got the gutter repair finished -
Posted Image

Then primed, It dropped a little when being welded but this will be covered up by the trim.-
Posted Image

I then got the whole front of the car finished and all in primer ready for paint -

Got the door steps on both sides sanded and primed -
Posted Image

Posted Image

Got the boot ready for paint -
Posted Image

Got the badge holes welded up but couldn't find the welding mask so actually did this with my eyes shut :withstupid: -
Posted Image

All that is left to do know is to cut the lip of the bonnet and prime it and to finish sanding the drivers door and prime it.
Once those two simple jobs are done the car is ready for paint and should be going up to the paint shop ( Where i work ) with in a week or so. I am very excited.

Also received a few goodies in the post today.
Brand spanking new Mk1 Grill :D -
Posted Image

And some new Group 2 Wheel arches -

Would love to hear all your comments as i have been putting alot of work in the past few week and it makes it worth it hearing from everyone.
Stay tuned for more updates.
Thanks very much

Andrew.

Looks great Andrew.
