Won't the bucket seats make the insurance loads? Love the console and dash.

Thanks very much, Im really happy with the wheels ( Not bad for £250 )
And the silent coat is adhesive so its just like putting lots of very thick sticker on.

Andrew.

You are moving along Andrew. It will be whisper quiet with all that Silent Coat. Great

Thanks Hugh, I do hope so and when I want the noise the window comes down.
I have been putting the exhaust on today, fitting the battery and petrol tank.

Post up some pictures when you can! I've got a question for you... Do you think 20 sheets of silent coat will be enough to do the car (not including the roof)? If not, how much more do I need?

Thanks

20 sheets will not be enough to do the whole car.
I have used 48 sheets on what you can see in the car.

Andrew, can I suggest yo do use the same or simular pads, as the felt will act like a sponge and will start rust behind the trim, felt was used in the origional speck but has proven over time to act like a rust enhancer. If you do want to use felt, put it on the engine side instead as there will be enough air circulation to dry it out when driving. ;D
