Thought id put some photos up of the tool box i have bought to put in the boot of the Mini -

Did that come as a set or did you buy the box and make this yourself?

If it was as a set, I'd love a link to where you got it mate!

Yeah the box came as one
I bought it from roofless on this forum. He sold 10 ones offs

Sorry there's been no update in a while but i now have one for you
Pictures -
Got the boot floor painted, This is now ready for lots of silent coat -


Got the first drive shaft in, I'm waiting on a new Cv Joint to do the other side -


My new Avon cones arrived £40 for the pair ( What a bargain ) so this meant i could crack on with fitting the radius arms -
The left side shock will be coming of when i paint and stone chip the arch -


I love how the Gaz shock absorbers look, Not that you will see them anyway -


That's it for today, I'm in the process of rebuilding the back plates so they can go on then the car will have wheels for the first time in ages.
I'm getting closer and closer to finishing - Heres a brief to do list
Finish building front suspension
Fit Carb and Battery then start engine
Fit interior
Sound Proof Boot
Paint car

Well its update time and i've been getting on with plenty the past few days.
Pictures -

Got one of the back plates built up and installed -


Got the rear arch in its first coat of chassis black -


Front arch in its fist coat of Chassis black -


Ready to seam seal -


Sealed -


Got the other back plate ready to go on, Just waiting to finish painting the arch -

Nice project Andrew just went through your tread, good work and very ambitious, suppose you can't wait giving the engine a go,..... keep it going, 60%done

Looking good Andrew,

just one point, are the shoes in right?? I saved this pic a while ago and it is different to yours. The shoes are tapered I think and go in one way only. Look at the shoe slots where the springs go.



Have a check up before final fit.
