Thanks very much and yeah I'm 16Andrew - that is smashing welding and I gather your just a young fellow. Very impressed! I would never have done something like that at your age. How on earth did you get your torch in at that seam between the front panel and the wings?! But you young lads are more flexible than me. Even your plug welds are impressive!!

To get in under the arch ( I didn't think to weld it off the car ) I just put the axel stands as high as I could go and job done .

It arrived this weekend so i set to work on that whilst the weather was fowl
Pictures -
New hardened valve guides -
It came fully skimmed -
New hardened unleaded valve seats -
I then lapped my valves in ( 3 Minutes on course and 3 minutes on fine )
They all have a really good seal around the seats now -
All numbered up ready to be fitted -
Thats about it for today.
Once i have the valves fitted with new springs i will be painting the head the same colour as the block
Also if the weather is good next week i can finish fitting the front end

Yeah I'm moving along nicely now£40, bargain, the skim on mine alone cost me that !! Front end on too, well driver side, nice one!!

Took about 1 Hour the get it perfect
Cylinder head finished
Im so happy with the final result considering how long it took me to mask it all of -
On the block -
Getting the rocker gaps perfect -
Very nice DSN heater take off -
Decided i should crack on with stripping the rear subframe -

My Ultralight Wheels turned up and i think there lush
They are brand new and i got them for £250 with brand new Falken tyres on them ( What a bargain )
Any way here they are -
