Thanks very muchMoving along Andrew. I see you are saying that your front end will be on Thursday and Friday - that's amazing. I am doing mine at the moment and think will take a couple of weeks to get lined up!!! Andrew - no update is boring. It all helps the rest of us.
Good work
Hugh
I say it will be on Thursday and Friday however I have never fitted a front end before so this may turn out to be longer than I first thought.
Please keep your comments coming as its nice to know people are reading my thread

And thanks Hugh it's going to be a night mare job but my Dads friend is coming around tomorrow and he is a bit of a Mini Guru and he's done 3 front ends so that should be a big help.

The gaps i have been having with the wings and the bonnet are horrific ( I now feel your pain Hugh )
Any way maybe the pictures will shed some light -
Horrific gap at the scuttle -
Horrific bonnet gap -
Okay ish gap at the front -
After alot of tweeking ( In the rain ) i got the gap to this -
Terrible ! -
Lots of swearing later i got the front gap spot on -
My dad and his friend John helping us out -
Rivited in -
After even more swearing we got the gap to as good as its ever going to be ( Im happy with it ) -
As she sits now -
Im happy at the moment however we havnt looked at the A - Pannels yet but im hoping they will be a better fit.
I would really appreciate your comments after all the work i have done.
Stay tuned for very regular updates
Andrew.
