Got a brand new headling of another member for £40, Saved me a fair bit of money ( WIN ! )

Ill let the pictures do most of the talking -
New steering rack fitted and making final preperations with the subframe -
I used two trolley jacks so i could fit the subframe by my self -
Subframe all bolted on -
Side shot -
New mounts -
Drove to Bristol yesterday to pick up a BRAND NEW door for £40, That's the deal of the year

Before -
Masked off -
Three layers of red oxide -
I then put a few layers of Black Hammerite over this but didnt get a photo
Seam Sealed -
Layer of stonechip ( Need to do more but it started raining ) -
Think i got my monies worth ? -
I stiripped this down, Cleaned all the rust off, regreased and put a new reverse sender switch on ( I will be putting a quickshift on when it arrives ) -
Back on the car -
I will be doing more painting on the inner wing tomorrow and then hopefuly start fitting the front end after that.

Pictures -
4 Layers of black hammerite to keep the rust and bay ( I will underseal over this ) -
Came across rust holes on both side of the boot -
I tired to fit the shock mounts but found the threads were knackered and ruined by bolt -
My room is starting to look like a Mini shop now
Any way i took delivery of a brand new bonnet for £50 ( Bargain )

I went to install the shock mounts and to my horror found that all the threads were knackered
So i had to go out get new bolts and use a tap and die set on the nuts
Any way i got there in the end -
(The grey stuff is waxyoyl)
Sorry todays update was very boring however there should be some juicy bits up in the next few day
