Had a free driveway today, and been meaning to get a shot like this for a while.

Mine is nowhere near as good as yours, I did it ages ago playing around with a then new camera :P

Ah ha! I knew I wouldn't be the only one lol.

Nice attempt, definitely need pics in daylight to get the engine bay colours/detail. I might be able to colour correct your image if you'd like..

It is achieved through multiple exposures of a uniform image, i.e via a tripod; composited in photoshop (or another free image editor) with the excess of image around the engine bay feathered and deleted as appropriate.

You can do them in a single exposure as well if you put your mind to it. It is easier with Photoshop though.

They all look good :).

Theyre all great but toaster93, yours looks just like a perspex bonnet, I wonder if anyone actually makes a perspex bonnet...

I think it's been discussed before that if they did the perspex would fog pretty quickly because of heat.

It would be awesome if someone could paint Mural's like that
especially with seats on the side
Ive seen the toilet seat one on a plumbers van
