Me and my girlfriend both have the mini bug, and the other day this came up for sale for a very nice price....



So After having a good look around we have decided to buy it and we are now waiting to get it home.
Still not sure on what to do with it, keep it original? that would involve getting it resprayed in its original colour and finding a few new bits. Or do we go for something mad and different. Whatever happens we will probably end up falling in love with it and keeping it. My mini usually makes the trip to IMM every year but I think we might try and take this to Hungary next year. Who knows, but once it comes back I will start a thread for it to keep everyone updated

That looks like the state mine was when i got it, except you have headlights =p and looks a bit more standard, what engine size is it?

Its just got a standard 998. It's a 91 Neon. We got it because it has had lots of panels replaced and actually nearly no rust. Just looks a mess as it hasn't been painted. It's nice to have the blank canvas to do anything with

Agreed, i'm sure you'll have alot of fun with it, what other minis do you or your girlfriend have?

Got quite a collection going on at the moment! My girlfriend has a 96 Sidewalk which is pretty much as standard (how it wants to stay I think) Mine is a 96 sprite which has changed quite a bit from its original state, it's more of a rally mini now. I also have a 2000 Cooper Sport which I'm trying to sell as I just can't afford to have it but It's nice having them all around at the moment.
