google search isnt helping much

i wanted to look into the A series and the A series Plus (or late engine) diffrences,

is there a source of information im missing?

"A Series" is an even more useless Google than "Mini isn't it"?

Looking through an online parts catalogue Somerfordmini.co.uk might help you spot the bits that are different.

The differences are fairly minor with many parts tweaked and improved but mostly interchangeable with the old engine.

Stiffer block with external webs
Distributor fitting
Oil pump drive
Con rods

Some have higher compression & different cam profiles
