Now I know some people can get flames and bangs from the exhaust by having a very poorly tuned engine. But whats the point of noise unless you can back it up with power

You need to read this ^^^^^ OP ;)

After a while of popping/spitting/banging/burbling your gonna find very quickly your not actually going anywhere and just making noise! You will tire of it unless the wheels are also moving a bit quicker

Motorway/long trips will test you, but you can get ear plugs :)

p.s if someone down your road has a sensitive car alarm then they will love you, obviously thats not from personal experience, honest :)

if you want a good sound use an LCB but remove the Y piece and run 2 pipes with each with a cheery bomb (remember them)

My first Mini did this wonderfully, I loved it. When I got her, the standard exhaust was completely rusted, so the mechanic dropped the car home and said "I've got a surprise for ya'!"

Basically, he had just taken a pipe from the manifold, welded in a little back box, and then just used a crude bit of pipe, welded to another bit of pipe, that came to a 3" pipe at the end. Was seriously loud, and it made a lovely burble when engine breaking through town. Always got me looks  ("Listen to that *******'s exhaust...." :-
